Description:

Teach me chocolate courses bring out the artist in you even if you have never worked with chocolate before. Create bars, lollies, salami and truffles all to take home and eat yourself or maybe give some to your friends and family. Learn to make and decorate chocolate in a friendly environment.  Classes are small so that you are able to work at your own pace and receive help as you progress over the course to complete your masterpiece! You will learn about the different techniques used to temper chocolate. Use flavour and colours, add embellishments and inclusions.  Only the very best Belgian Chocolate is used and we also have dairy free and sugar free so no one has to miss out!

Our CHOCOLATE BEGINNERS COURSE is an introduction to working with chocolate, learning how to temper chocolate, make lollies, break up bars and decorating them with shimmers, flavours and inclusions and finishing with beautiful packaging.  At Christmas we have our CHAMPAGNE AND CHOCOLATE COURSE where you will make a lovely moulded box and fill it with hand made chocolates and truffles.  We will also use cocoa butter  or transfer sheets to paint and create some lovely lollies , bars and decorations.  In addition, we will add some seasonal sparkle with a glass or two of Champagne to get you into the Christmas spirit, so get a group together and have some fun!  For our CHOCOLATE EASTER EGG MAKING COURSE you will learn to mould a super sized Easter egg, fill it with chocolates, decorate with hand made sugar roses and piping.  Place your masterpiece into a wicker basket, wrap with cellophane and finish with a flourish with a tie bow. You will also mould some smaller eggs using pre printed transfer egg shells which are amazing and is bound to WOW your friends and family. See booking page for course programme

EXAMPLE COURSE PROGRAMME:

 

All courses usually run from 10.00 – 4.00pm and are suitable for all abilities.

The course includes all materials, equipment and packaging.

Lunch, tea and biscuits are also included

During the course you will learn many aspects of chocolate making (tempering, flavouring, colouring, inclusions, transfer sheets, moulding and more) irrespective of the season or event, you will create something special and unique


Location:

We are situated in New Romney within easy walking distance of the village.  Locally there are some excellent restaurants, the beach is approximately 30-40 minutes walk – door to shore!  The Romney, Hythe and Dymchurch Railway is also within walking distance for you to be able to take an excursion if you want to extend your stay prior or after the course.  Rye, Hastings and Canterbury are a short drive away and often have many local festivals or activities taking place.

We have a comfortable self contained annex – Seaside Cabin with double bed and bunk beds. There is a kitchen, shower and separate toilet. Continental breakfast is included whilst attending the course.
