Copper Foil Overlay Workshop
Event Description
Discover a different side of stained glass in this creative two-hour workshop, where you’ll combine traditional copper foil techniques with decorative patina to create a striking piece of glass art.
Working with a pre-cut circular glass panel, you’ll choose from a selection of templates before carefully applying copper foil to create your design. Once complete, you’ll solder the overlay before applying black patina, transforming the solder into a bold, decorative silhouette that stands out beautifully against the coloured glass.
Choose from a range of beautiful glass colours to create a piece that’s entirely your own. Whether you prefer wildlife, nature or other decorative designs, you’ll leave with a unique piece ready to display at home.
Perfect for beginners, this workshop is a great introduction to copper foil techniques without the need to cut any glass.
