We’ve been genuinely impressed by everyone’s sheep knowledge over the past few weeks! From Shaun the Sheep trivia to famous sheep facts, we received lots of brilliant entries to our Romney Flock & Tide Tales launch competition — and plenty of people managed to answer all three questions correctly.
After a random draw from the correct entries, we’re delighted to announce that Chris B has won 4 tickets to see The Sheep Detectives at Cinemarsh. Congratulations!
A huge thank you to everybody who entered the competition, shared the project and helped support the launch of The Romney Flock & Tide Tales. It’s been fantastic to see so much enthusiasm already for this major community arts project, which will bring together public art, local stories, creativity and community participation across the area.
The project is only just beginning, and there are still plenty of opportunities to get involved. Our Mosaic Brick Workshops are now taking place across a range of community venues, giving people the chance to design and create their own personalised mosaic brick for just £15. Each completed brick will become a permanent feature around Oakland Park Bandstand in Hythe as part of the final installation.
Everything is included, and experienced makers are on hand throughout to help bring ideas to life, making the workshops welcoming and accessible for complete beginners as well as creative minds of all ages.
Thank you again to everyone who has supported the project so far — we’re incredibly excited to see The Romney Flock & Tide Tales continue to grow over the coming months.
