Fused Glass Gingerbread House

Add a little sweetness to Christmas with this festive fused glass workshop, where you’ll create your very own 3D gingerbread house in glass, complete with colourful sweets, candy canes and plenty of festive detail.

You’ll design and decorate the individual panels of your gingerbread house using a selection of coloured glass, frits, stringers and decorative glass elements. Think peppermint swirls, striped candy canes, bright little sweets, snowy icing details, windows and a colourful front door – with plenty of scope to make your house completely your own.

Once your design is complete, the individual pieces will be kiln-fired before being carefully assembled into a freestanding three-dimensional glass house.

This relaxed half-day workshop is suitable for beginners, with guidance throughout and plenty of opportunity to experiment with colour and decoration. You can keep your gingerbread house traditionally festive or go wonderfully bright and colourful – no two houses will be quite the same.

Your finished fused glass gingerbread house makes a gorgeous Christmas decoration to bring out year after year, and looks especially lovely with festive lights around it.
