Inspired by stormy seas, striking lighthouses and the ever-changing colours of the coast, this expressive workshop combines flowing watercolours with bold acrylic techniques to create paintings full of movement, texture and light. Expect splashes, layered skies, sea spray effects and the freedom to paint loosely and expressively while capturing the power and beauty of the sea.
Sam Scott is a professional artist based on the Kent coast, known for her vibrant paintings and expressive style. A finalist in the British Art Prize and featured on Landscape Artist of the Year, Sam is passionate about helping people discover that painting can be exciting, freeing and accessible to everyone.
Perfect for complete beginners as well as those with some experience, this relaxed and sociable workshop includes step-by-step guidance throughout, with plenty of encouragement along the way.
